April 8, 2004 - Vancouver, WA - GWI Software, provider of IT helpdesk applications, announced
that they have exceeded revenue targets for the quarter ended March 31, 2004. Total revenue
for Q1 2004 has surpassed the revenue for the same quarter last year by 16%. New product sales
increased 27% over Q1 2003.
"We continually upgrade our product to meet the customer needs, and that is being reflected in
our increased revenue," says Daren Nelson, GWI Software CEO. "We are especially pleased with
the 175% increase in sales of our c.Support for Microsoft Windows product."
The increase in revenue for the quarter compared to the same period in the prior year is partly
attributable to the loosening but cautious economic climate. Businesses are starting to grow,
putting pressure on their IT help desk. Needing increased levels of productivity but reluctant
to hire more staff, help desks are turning to c.Support® from GWI Software.
"GWI offers a robust feature set at an affordable price, a combination that seems to be just what
businesses need," stated Daren Nelson, GWI Software CEO.
